ABOUT ME

You know, before I use to be a dreamer. Before I realized the worries of my mom and how we might not be able to afford the utility bill. Before I questioned the intention of others or placed too much emphasis on pleasing people. I wanted to do everything. Vacation on the moon, be a paramedic, a singer, or an actor. Have a pet cow and harvest flowers. Then things shifted a bit, I started noticing society and its different aspects. The inequalities and injustices present provoked me to question things. It shifted things and there was absolutely a time that I felt helpless. 

My name is Ashley and, with Christ, I’m relearning to dream freely.
